This is my personal website that I started making in 2022 and I update it whenever I feel like I need to. It has allowed me to do website development while also making it fun.

Its an important personal project to me because it is able to grow with me. I am able to change the layout and content and add more pages as I please. It is really interesting to look at older layouts and pages and see how I have developed from then.

It also connects with my interest in old technology and the older internet. I am not confined to the limits of modern social media and am instead able to make anything I want. I think that is an important aspect of the older internet that people miss– the freedom. It is just really nice to know that I can make basically anything i want on there, given that I have learned how to. Its a space where I have the full freedom to do what I want.

Here is a page i made about the lego movie! I was very excited to talk about it because I had recently seen it. My website is mostly structured like this; I pick a thing to ramble about, and then ramble about it while making the page look as silly as I can make it without making it completely illegible. I think its quite obvious with the layout and structure that I was having fun making it.

The page appears broken when its linked here because quite frankly, i code very poorly and only accommodate for my view. I think its been important for me to internalize while making this that this is only for me and I dont need stress over making it work on other screen sizes. It is purely for my own self enjoyment and if its nonsense to other people, then so be it!

I think thats an important mindset to have when creating things for yourself: they dont need to be perfect. Striving for perfection is a thing I struggle with because I am the type to get easily frustrated and never really am able to do things perfectly. I think this website is a great way to learn to cope with that because I am constantly compromising with it.
